A little about me…
Hello there!
I’m Amy, a twenty something (can’t say that for much longer unfortunately) mum of two girls and Fiancé to Chris, based in Northern Ireland.
I started Vamos Admin to allow me to reach more stressed out, busy business owners than I could in my employed role. I thrive on taking a chaotic situation, mapping out the processes, eliminating the guff and watching how much that newfound time and mental capacity gives to an entrepreneur.
I like busy, I like managing conflicting deadlines and I love finding solutions.
Yes, I’m that person. The one people say awk sure get Amy to sort it out because she’s good at it but really she’s loves it anyway!
I’m qualified in Aerospace Studies, undertook an apprenticeship in Aircraft Fitting after I left school (many moons ago!) and have held various roles in engineering & construction in Northern Ireland and mainland UK.
When I’m not planning how to take over the administrative world or being used as a climbing frame for my two young kids, you can find me wedding planning, blogging on my personal page, travelling and reading when I have a spare minute!
Being a virtual assistant…
How many times do you think you could do with cloning yourself? Or just a little bit of help without having to commit to an employee and pensions and national insurance and HR processes and…should I go on? Well that’s where I come in. Think of me as a pay as you go personal assistant. Really though I’m going to be your new best friend, business champion and all round useful person to have on your radar!
Also as an introduction to virtual assistant support and the vast murky world of wannabe assistants, be careful who you let into your business (I said that in my best creepy voice). I am insured, registered for GDPR, approved by the Society of Virtual Assistants as carrying out best practice in the industry and have the skills and experience to back up what I say. It’s not easy to hand over any element of your baby, the business you’ve put blood, sweat and tears into, and I totally get that as a business owner myself. Your business is in safe hands with me.
